Origin
The Garden Villa Islamic Eco-Village is my brain child as well my life time dreamed project, conceived from my post involvement as a Social Worker, evolved from the “New 15 Point Programme for Minorities” declared by Prim Minister India.
Goal:
To Establish a Self sustained Islamic settlement, will be built up on the principle of Islamic Culture laid down in the Holy Quran and the Prophets traditions as in then Holy City of Madhina during the period of our beloved Salalaku alivasalam and the Ist four Kalibas [the leaders of Islamic Kingdom].

Concept:
Sharing of Resources….Caring for People…Caring for Earth.
“Sharing of Resources” an Islamic Life style of Co-operation is the central theme of this Project. How..?

I. Through an Economic theory” -- “Transparent Transaction.”

II. By an administrative Policy ...    “Govt. by Discussion”.

III. A Judiciary system                   “Islamic Traditional court”

Location of the Proposed Garden villa Islamic Village:
The land identified for Islamic Eco- Village is around 102 acres at near Vaigai Dam Melmangalam Reveue Village, Periyakulam Taluck, Theni District Tamilnadu, belongs to a reputed family’s own a Registered Trust.

The Founder of Trust, late. Mr. Jaganathan planed to establish City finished the preliminary developmental works like formation of roads ,tree platting, entire campus fencing and finally he got Site approval from the Director of Town and Country Planning.

Mission Statement
The total no of plots is 408 @ 10,000 Sq.feet each with 40,30 feet Road access.

1000 low income Muslim families will be identified and settled @ 5 families in each plot.

2000 Sft. Plot will be Registered in the name of each family .Out of this 2000 Sft.1000 sft will be will be utilized for to built a house and the other part of 1000 sft. will be used for the to establish Agro-based Industries on an informal Co-operative .

5 families in a plot will join together forming a Trade Club and 5 Agro-based industries will be developed in each plot. Each family will take over and manage one trade but the profit and loss of all the 5 tread will be shared among all so that they can sustain their life from un expected loss.

Fund flow:

The principles of Islamic Finance laid down in the Holly Quran and the Prophets tradition will be followed. At any cost any kind of free donations will not be entertained.

இஸ்லாமிய கிராமம் எமது நீண்டகால ஆசை.
ஆசை நிறைவேராவிட்டலும் எதிர்கால சந்ததியர் மனதில்
நல்லதோர் வித்தை விதைத்த நன்மை மறுமையில் எமக்கு கிடைக்கும்.
“ஊதிற சங்கை ஊதுவோம்”
ஏக இறைவன் அணைத்து ரகசியத்தையும் அறிந்தவன்.

சென்ற ரமலான் மாதம் இஸ்லாமிய கிராம திட்டதிற்கு நான்கு ஏக்கர்
நிலம் வாங்கப்பட்டு 3000 துண்டு பிரசுரத்தின் மூலம் ௦௦பிரகடனபடுதபட்டது..
விஷயம புதிதாகஇருந்ததாலும்,
கூறிய நபர் பிரபலயம்மற்றவராக இருந்ததாலும்,
விஷயத்தை தெள்ள தெளிவாக கூறாததாலும்
திட்டம் மக்களை சென்றடையவில்லை.

40 குடும்பகங்கள் அங்கம் வகிக்க வேடிய திட்டம்
10 நபர்களாக சுருயுள்ளது.
இன்ஷா அல்லாஹ் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் அது விரிவடையும்.

1.இஸ்லாமிய கிராமங்களை உலகெங்கிலும் ஆங்காங்கு உருவாக்கி

நடைமுறைக்கு கொண்டுவந்து
“கிலாபத்” எனும் இறையாட்சியை நிலைநிருத்துவது.

2.“கிலாபத்” எனும் இறையாட்சியை
தேனி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள 59 மஹல்லாகளிலும்
நடைமுறைக்கு கொண்டுவருவதன் மூலம
இஸ்லாமிய சமுகத்தை ஒரு குடையின்கீல் கொண்டுவருதல்.

Who am I

I am Haji.S.Mohamed@Shemd, the son of late Mr.Mrs. Sheik Mohamed - Gulshan Beevi, born and brought up in Kodai Hills, basically a Farmer, psycho - physio therapist by profession.



I have completed my bachelor degree in Chemistry in Jamal Mohamed College at Tiruchy. As well I got so many Diplomas in Alternative Medicine like Diploma in Nature Cure, (DNC), Herbal Phisio therapist- (HPT), Sidha Medical Assistant (SMA) Diploma in Accu Puncture, D.Accu etc., Now my thesis for Phd., in alternative medicine is almost completed.



My Family Structure

I am the 7th person out of 13 (9 sisters + 4 Brothers) in my family. I got married, having two daughters and a son. Both my daughters got married, promoted me as a grand father. My son Mr.Sheik Muqthar is studying in a Metric School.



My Past Experience

As a Social Worker

After finishing my studies, I have started my career as a 'Social Worker' in 1976 under the banner of "Institute for Cultural Unity" an NGO-Non Governmental Organization. Still I have a good report with so many NGOs through out the globe in the field of Agro Ecology & Environment.



As a Healer

At the end of 2000 I have started my "PanchaKarma" an Ayurvedic Treatment Centre with a Name Style of Kodaispa in Kodaikanal Town. Around five years: (2002 - 2006) I have fully engaged in the field of Alternative Health Care and an important matter to mention here is my Thesis for PhD., in Alternative Medicine with a topic "Eastern Philosophy of Mind-Body interaction and the Herbal Mind Set of Tribals in Kodai Hills".



As a part of this Thesis- a Preliminary Study was conducted to find out the Herbals in Kodai Hills.Around 104 Herbals were identified, out of this 30 Herbals are Indigenous and commercially valid, found that these valuable Herbals are rooted out illegally by un social elements. To preserve these Herbals I have formulated a project proposal under the scheme of "National Medicinal Plant Board, Government of India". The central theme of that project was to declare these Herbals are the wealth of local community in front of Honorable President of India - so that nobody could not procure these Herbals without the knowledge of local community. As usuall the higher officials were in favour of my project but I could not convince the local officials. Mr. Hussain, The Assistant Director of Horticulture Kodaikanal and his team rejected my project proposal. Hence the Light was put off.



Due to this pain as well my children's education I have shifted my family to Periyakulam a small Town on the foot will and leased out my Pancha Karma Treatment Centre to a Keralist Ayurvedic Group. Because of my financial crises, I have sold out my Kodaispa- Building in January 2008. Hence the Kodaispa came to an end.



My Entry in the Real Estate Industry

As I said earlier, we are 13 families, settled in different places after the marriage, forced to sell our 40 Acres Cultivable land in Kodai Upper Hills. In this connection I met so many Real Estate Agents, Builders and Plot Promoters........Finally I became a Realtor.
